About Module Crafthub

Guidance shaped around real arrival decisions

Meet the Hamburg migration advisers helping newcomers understand German health insurance and social contribution basics.

Why we began

Module Crafthub grew from a recurring scene in Hamburg relocation work: capable people arriving with signed employment contracts, yet receiving contradictory explanations of Krankenkasse, family cover, and payslip deductions. The missing piece was often not another comparison chart. It was an unhurried conversation that put decisions in the right order.

Our working approach

We begin with facts: employment status, dates, household, prior cover, and the organisations already involved. Then we translate unfamiliar terms, mark assumptions, and separate general orientation from questions that require a statutory fund, licensed insurance professional, tax adviser, or lawyer.

Lea Winter leads health-cover and family-arrival consultations. She has worked in international relocation support since 2018, coordinating registrations and social-insurance onboarding for employees and accompanying partners. Jonas Berg supports payslip briefings and official-source research after eight years in people operations for German employers.

What we value

Clarity includes saying “this needs a regulated professional.” We do not accept insurer commission, handle applications, or rank policies. Our role is to help you arrive at the right conversation prepared, with notes you can use after the call.
